DAFF take out the Plate final in a thriller!

Congratulations to sister agencies the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) who made it through to the Plate final.

For these two teams, the day finished just the way it started – in a closely held battle for bragging rights. While Climate Change took out the early morning opener 5-2, the final was a much closer affair, with scores locked up at 5-5 after normal time. In the end, it was DAFF who managed to take out the win, 6-5, after drop-off.
