Buroinjin is a running and passing ball game played by the Kabi Kabi people of southern Queensland. The game was played with a ball made of a stuffed kangaroo skin which was called a buroinjin. The aim is for a player of one team to run with the buroinjin (ball) and fully cross over the score line at the other end of the field to score a touchdown.

More information on how to play buroinjin is attached.

If you’re interested in learning about this game and testing whether your touch skills are transferrable, please come along to Field 1 during the lunch break at 1:15 pm where we’ll be running a demonstration game. All are welcome.
